Tom C. Greer was born in Texarkana, TX and has lived there and in the Dallas, TX area most of his life. He is a veteran educator with more than 25 years of experience in Texas public schools. He has always had a love of reading, especially during his elementary school years at Liberty-Eylau Intermediate, where he received countless certificates for his reading.

 

As an adult, his reading become more for professional gains, but he still loves to occasionally pick up a suspense thriller to escape. He began writing based on his love of his family pet, Honey, and thought it would be fun to have her think back over her life, much like his grandparents did back in the day. They would share about fun adventures they went on when they were younger and he thought kids might like to read about Honey's younger life. Three titles about Honey have become quite popular and now he is expanding into other characters and their experiences. Most recently, he has added two new titles that share about the love and friendship between a child and their grandparents.

 

Greer currently lives in Texarkana, TX area with his spouse, one dog (Scrappy) and two cats (Synamin and Smoky).
